 Prayers for Bible Study Prayer #1 Father, anoint us with your Holy Spirit, so that as we read your eternal word, your word may penetrate our whole being and transform us. Grant us the blessing to be a faithful disciples in believing the Word of God and that we may be a light shining upon all who are in darkness. Amen Prayer #2 Heavenly Father, we come to you today asking for your guidance, wisdom, and support as we begin this meeting. Help us to engage in meaningful discussion; allow us to grow closer as a group and nurture the bonds of this St Simon's faith community. Fill us with your grace, Lord God, as we make try to understand your mysteries. And continue to remind us that all that we do here today, all that we accomplish, is for the pursuit of truth for the greater glory of You, and for the service of humanity.  Prayer during Spiritual Communion O Lord Jesus, since I cannot receive you in your Sacramental presence, I earnestly beg you to come spiritually into my soul and fill me with your Holy Grace so that I may be yours forever more. O Jesus living in Mary, come and live in me.  Fill me with your holiness, let me feel the power of your love and mercy, let me understand your mysteries and walk in your ways. O Precious Lord, give to me a strong lively faith, an unbounded trust, fill me with humility and an aching sorrow for my sins, a total abandonment your divine will and a perfect loving union with you in body, soul, mind and heart. O Sacrament most Holy, O Sacrament divine, all praise and all thanks giving be every moment thine. Lord Jesus, I thank you for the blessing and graces you have given me though this Spiritual Communion.  Amen
